My twitter account has been suspended because of illegal use. I have no idea what the illegal use is and I can’t find out for possibly 30 Days. What?
You guys know that I’m an avid Twitter user. You know that I am very much against spam and really hate the auto DM wars that continue. I use Twitter daily for communication with my clients, friends, family and people with similar interests. I have grown dependent on it which I now know is not a smart move especially for businesses.
Twitter, I have a suggestion. Investigate the people you think are abusing the system and then contact them or give them a suggestion/warning regarding the usage. If that’s too hard then how about have a way for users to verify and update their account in the event it was an accident or a hacking.
Twitter, don’t make us wait 30 days! You have created a great tool that many of us do business with and communicate critically with! There has to be a way to weed out the legitimate users from the others…
I love Twitter but I have to believe there are some ways to improve this issue. We’ve come so far Twitter and to just let me fade away hurts.

On June 30th, Inked Digital will officially split time between Nashville, TN and Charleston, SC. Nashville will be “home-base” and Charleston will be the city that keeps Inked Digital alive! Our friends at Daniel Island are going to keep us busy with upcoming marketing initiatives and some cool new tools and toys so I’ll be in Charleston monthly to “take care of business”.
I’ve been fortunate to meet some other great small businesses in Charleston and will be hanging with them as well to help them grow and jump into this online world… details to come.
Our friends on the West coast, Music Roasters, will also keep us jumping. A new site is scheduled to launch in July and I saw the design finals today and I cannot wait to get this site live and share with you guys. It’s pretty cool, but the story behind it is even cooler. More to come.
Inked Digital is growing for one reason. You. I’m amazed at how quickly Inked Digital has filled a void that was missing from so many web design firms and major ad agencies. Overall I hope we continue to grow but I never want to be that “big” agency in those “fancy” offices…
Thanks for the opportunity to serve and work with you guys… busy days ahead and I’m very grateful!

I’m serious. Are you for real? Are you transparent? If I meet you on the street and you run a business will I like you and your business the same?
I run Inked Digital and Tone Box Digital. I run them as extensions of myself. If you meet me and get to know me you’ll see that Inked and Tone Box are companies with the same goals, values, issues, emotions and ideals.
Some will agree and some will disagree but when you see me on Twitter, I’m representing the two passions that drive my businesses. My love for independent music and my love for social media and online marketing.
So, again, I ask you… Are you for real?

We just wrapped up a logo for the new music company Music Roasters. These guys are going to be offering royalty free niche music. The logo is just phase one and we are knee deep in phase two getting designs for the new website that we are targeting to launch in July.
We decided to open the design up to the 99designs.com community. We had over 140 designs submitted and when all was said and done the guys from Music Roasters fell in love with this one…
